Enter my first favorite song of 2018. Skepta hops on Xavier Wulf’s “Check It Out” and essentially makes it his own. The slimey instrumental and Skepta’s subtle but piercing articulation are a match made in heaven. I’m not sure why they cut out most of Xavier’s original verses, but the BBK founder more than makes up for it.
